Yard Waste

Yard Waste is picked up on our weekly garbage day of Friday; there is a six bag limit per unit. 

YARD WASTE BAGS SHOULD NOT BE PUT OUT PRIOR TO 6PM THURSDAY NIGHT; NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please DO NOT leave yard waste bags by or in the dumpster.

Yard waste pick up runs April 1st through December 16th.

Garbage/Recycling Pickup

YOUR GARBAGE SHOULD NOT BE PUT OUT PRIOR TO 6PM THURSDAY NIGHT FOR OUR FRIDAY PICKUP; NO EXCEPTIONS.

As a general rule, holidays push our pickup schedule back one day with regular schedules resuming the following week. If a holiday falls on a weekend, it does NOT affect our pickup schedule.

GFL has informed us that residents can put out ONE bulk item on the regular day of collection without scheduling a special pickup. Limit only to one item such as a couch, chair or mattress. If you have more than one item, YOU must contact GFL and schedule an additional pick up.  Any charges for this service billed to the Association will be back billed to the co-owner.

Be mindful of your garbage and recycling placement.  Do not just throw out open boxes with additional recycling items thrown in them (crushed water bottles, mile cartons, plastic bags, etc); this ends up blowing all over the community and just sits in our streets and yards.  If you see trash or recycling blowing around the community, be a good neighbor and dispose of it, regardless of who it belongs to.

Hazardous Waste                                                                                                                                                                                   Rochester Hills residents have to dispose of hazardous waste material (items like paint, chemicals and electronics); this can be done at SOCRRA in Troy. The Drop-off Center is available by appointment only. Residents of the City of Rochester and Rochester Hills may use this service after purchasing a voucher from their city office. Paper voucher must be presented at SOCRRA; you also must show proof of residency.
